We'll explore the changes that begin as early as mid-30's and why the body reacts the way it does. The comprehensive Food Guide included provides a wealth of information on diet and how what we eat (and even in which order) impacts the body in the areas of insulin resistance, battling the belly bulge and even hormone regulation to some extent. Recipes provide a guide to caloric intake daily with plenty of delicious food options. Short teaching videos provide golden nuggets of information throughout, and the progressive strength training program is going to rock your body and your world - you'll be amazed at how good you feel! Woodcreek Community Association offers TWO Move & Groove classes weekly for Active Agers who want to stay fit and mobile!
Program creator Nancy Ehle leads the group through an hour of exercises that will help balance, stability, mobility, strength, heart health, core, and more! These classes run for 7-8 weeks at a time, with a short break over the Christmas season and we always take July and August off annually. Our last class prior to Summer 2025 is on Friday, June 20.
